I bought this for my sweet daughter, who is 10, and has been disappointed that so much science time has been getting cut from her class time at her school lately. She says she loves the range of topics this book covers, and that the text appears in a lot of bubble boxes rather then paragraphs. She's willing to read paragraphs, but she is at a stage where she finds it more engaging to have the text broken up some. She also says she really likes the way the pages are laid out with the background colors, and she really likes that some of the pages are different colors. So basically, she loves the visual layout and finds it more interesting to look at for that reason. There also haven't been any issues with the binding, and this is her favorite of the things I've given her in the past couple of months, and has declared it to be quite awesome.

My grandson (age 7) has started asking lots of questions. Why is the sky blue, how are tornadoes formed, etc. This book has so much awesome information. He reads a page a night before bed. I'm glad my daughter recommended this for him!

I bought this because my nephew's home schooling program doesn't have a science book, just online books. Both my nephews like holding the books when they read, so this book have been very popular with them. It's a great book and has just about followed their 6th grade science class perfectly. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Bought this for my 7-yr old GRD. She loved it. We spent hours looking, reading, and learning. She especially loves grilling us with questions and LOL's. A definite read for the child that loves to ask "why and how."

This book is excellent! My 10 year old grandson had seen it at a book fair. I purchased it from Amazon and he read it cover to cover when it arrived and uses it for a reference and to show friends what he had discovered in it. Good find.

This book was SO awesome! The pictures are beautiful, the writing is interesting. It's much cheaper on Amazon than it was at the book fair where my 6th grade son picked it out. With Prime shipping, he got it in 2 days. Money saved and a wonderful book.
